4 July UNVEILING OF THE LARGEST ROS TAPESTRY PANEL

The Largest and central embroidered panel – The Marriage of Isabel de Clare and William Marshal – will be unveiled.

4 July INDUCTION INTO THE IRISH AMERICAN HALL OF FAME

New Ross Library will join in the Irish America Day celebrations on USA Independence Day, Wednesday 4th July, with dramatised readings of Mark Twain’s “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”.

Members of the New Ross amateur dramatics society will perform a reading, with the support of drama, of an excerpt of Mark Twain’s famous work in New Ross Library on Wednesday 4th July at 3pm.

Members of the public are invited to join in the fun and come to the library dressed as one of Mark Twain’s famous characters, Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer, Aunt Polly, Jim, Joe Harper, Injun Joe, Becky Thatcher or any of the other characters in any Mark Twain story. The best-dressed character will win a Family Pass (2 adults & 2 children) for a swim at New Ross Kennedy Memorial Swimming Pool. All welcome.
