Situated in Wexford, twins Brandon and Ashley combine to create The Ocelots. They have crafted their songwriting and musical experience together to produce a forceful blend of rich harmonies and bare, raw acoustic folk. Their music perfectly embodies the breezy effortlessness of early Bob Dylan, and Simon & Garfunkel. Deeply embedded in the Irish music scene, The Ocelots have showcased their music in Irish Festivals like Body & Soul, Spirit of Folk, Hard Working Class Heroes and Electric picnic, Whilst also playing Ireland`s top venues such as Whelans, Sweeney’s, The Ruby Sessions and Cyprus Avenue.

The Ocelots maintain their largely independent music trail by frequenting different cities all across Europe. Playing shows in places like Paris, Rome, London, Edinburgh, Munich, Cologne, as well as residencies all throughout Germany, Denmark and Italy. The two brothers platform their music through various live video channels, Including Cardinal Sessions (Glen Hansard, Two Door Cinema Club, Charles Bradley), Christian Tierney (James Bay, The Staves), Live in Wexford (Mick Flannery, Paul Creane) and Sofar Sounds (Hozier, Bastille).

Following the release of their video with the Cardinal Sessions in Cologne they were voted among the Top 5 Cardinal Sessions favourite bands of the year alongside Courtney Barnett as well as being featured as one of the top ten bands of the summer by A Sunday Sessions video of their original song “Shoot Me Darling” also reached over 287,000 views gaining attention from the likes of Wallis Bird and Hot Press. The brothers are currently working on a five track EP, which they plan to release in July.
